The Schererville Police Explorers usually meet on Mondays from 6:00pm to approximately 8:00pm. Explorers normally meet at the Police Station and participate in some type of training exercise or lecture. Meetings may include guest speakers, hands on training activities or field trips to other law enforcement agencies or law enforcement related facilities. During meetings Explorers will typically participate in training similar to what officers receive. On scheduled trips Explorers get the opportunity to see and experience different areas or specialties of work within law enforcement. This may include training in areas listed below but is not limited to these areas.
